About Ti Tree

Ti Tree is a small town and locality on the Stuart Highway in the Northern Territory, about 193 kilometres north of Alice Springs and the first substantial service stop on the road to Tennant Creek. It grew around a store at Tea Tree Well, named during construction of the Overland Telegraph Line, and was gazetted as the town of Ti-Tree in 1981. The Ti-Tree Roadhouse serves travellers, and irrigated farms using water from the Amadeus Basin produce table grapes, melons and vegetables for Territory markets.
