About Tara (NT)
Tara is a small Aboriginal community in the Barkly Region of the Northern Territory, about 243 km north of Alice Springs, on Kaytetye land. Also known as Artarre, a Kaytetye word for emu tail feathers, the community lies near the old Neutral Junction in the watershed of the Davenport Ranges.
