About Laramba
Laramba is a small Aboriginal community in the Tenant Creek region of the Northern Territory, situated approximately 200 kilometres north-west of Alice Springs in the Barkly Tableland district. The community is home to the Warumungu and Warlpiri people and is characterised by its remote desert landscape of spinifex grasslands, mulga woodland and the flat red plains of the central Australian outback. Laramba sits within one of Australia's most sparsely populated regions, with the nearby town of Tennant Creek providing services to the surrounding district.
