About Uralba

Uralba is a rural locality in the Ballina Shire on the Far North Coast of New South Wales, approximately 10 kilometres west of Ballina. Its name means "place of plenteous quartz stones" in the local Aboriginal language. The Uralba Valley is known for local produce including bananas, macadamias, and cattle, with farm stalls along Uralba Road offering views toward Ballina and the coast.
