About Glendale (NSW)
Glendale is an established suburb in the City of Lake Macquarie, located 15 kilometres west of Newcastle CBD at the northern tip of Lake Macquarie. Home to Lake Macquarie Square, one of the largest shopping centres in the Hunter region, the suburb is a major retail and commercial hub for western Lake Macquarie. It is adjacent to the Cardiff industrial estate and is well serviced by public transport, with Cardiff Station on the Hunter Line providing regular train services to Newcastle.
