About Yarrie Lake
Yarrie Lake is a scenic locality in the Pilliga Forest between Narrabri and Wee Waa in north-western New South Wales, centred on a remarkable crater lake. It is a popular spot for camping, water skiing, swimming, and birdwatching, with dedicated walking tracks around the lake supporting around 70 species of birds. The locality lies about 28 kilometres from Narrabri and is managed for recreational use within the Pilliga forest region.
