About Quipolly

Quipolly is a locality in the Liverpool Plains region of New South Wales, about 8 kilometres south of Werris Creek on the Main North railway line. The locality grew around a railway station opened in 1879, soon after the Great Northern line was pushed across the Liverpool Plains towards the Queensland border. The station closed in 1974 and no trace of it remains today, although a passing loop still operates at the site between the Werris Creek and Quirindi stations.
