About Elsmore
Elsmore is a village about 10 kilometres east of Inverell on the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales. The district was the site of a tin rush from about 1870 and of Australia's first commercial tin mine, which opened in 1871. Tin mining has continued in the area intermittently since that time.
