About Yanga
Yanga is a locality in south-western New South Wales, near Balranald on the floodplain of the Lower Murrumbidgee River. It is home to Yanga National Park, which protects river red gum forest and some 170 kilometres of Murrumbidgee River frontage, on land once held by the Yanga pastoral station established in the 1830s.
