About Goodnight
Goodnight is a small rural locality in the Murray River region of south-western New South Wales, situated near the Murray River approximately 50 kilometres from the Victorian border within the Murray River Council area. The flat agricultural land supports cereal cropping, horticulture and livestock grazing on the broad floodplains typical of the lower Murray valley. The nearby township of Tooleybuc is the main service centre, and the Goodnight Recreation Reserve and Hall — celebrating its centenary in recent years — remains a focal point for the small but tightly knit community.
