About Para

Para is a large, sparsely settled pastoral locality in the Wentworth Shire of far south-west New South Wales, near the Great Anabranch of the Darling River. The locality is home to the heritage-listed Para Homestead and woolshed, built on the pastoral station that was owned by the Hope family from 1867.
