About Panuara
Panuara is a large rural locality near Orange in the Central West of New South Wales, situated within the Blayney Council area. The gently undulating agricultural land supports wheat farming, sheep grazing and mixed cropping typical of the Central Tablelands, with the regional city of Orange about 18 kilometres to the east providing all essential services. The area has geological significance: the Silurian Panuara Formation, described from outcrops just west of the locality, preserves graptolite assemblages important for understanding early Paleozoic stratigraphy in central New South Wales.
