About Cadia
Cadia is a locality in the Cabonne Council of New South Wales, Australia, about 25 kilometres south-west of Orange. It was formerly a private township established around the 1860s by the Cadiangullong Consolidated Copper company, now a ghost town. The locality is today the site of Cadia Valley Operations, one of Australia's largest gold and copper mining operations.
