About Gilmandyke
Gilmandyke is a locality in the Central West region of New South Wales, south of Rockley. Gold was discovered on Gilmandyke and Davis Creeks during the gold rush era, yielding coarse gold and supporting around 100 miners at its peak. The area is also home to the Gilmandyke pastoral holding, a sheep and cattle grazing operation on the rolling hills of the Central Tablelands.
