About Brewongle

Brewongle is a small rural locality in the Bathurst Region of the Central Tablelands, about 16 kilometres east-south-east of Bathurst. The name derives from the local Boorooberongal clan of the Dharug people. Undulating pastoral country dominates the landscape, and a railway station on the Main Western Line operated from 1872 until 1975.
