About Kelso (NSW)

Kelso is a suburb of Bathurst in the Central West of New South Wales, on the eastern bank of the Macquarie River opposite the city centre. It was the original European settlement of the area, established in 1816 when the first ten farmers were each granted 50 acres, and is home to Holy Trinity Church, built in 1835 as the first church consecrated west of the Blue Mountains.
