About Old Adaminaby
Old Adaminaby is the site of the original town of Adaminaby, in the Snowy Monaro Regional Council area of New South Wales, which was flooded in 1957 to create Lake Eucumbene, the largest reservoir of the Snowy Mountains Scheme. The town was relocated to the present town of Adaminaby nearby, and the heritage-listed site is sometimes exposed when lake levels drop.
