About Myrtleville
Myrtleville is a locality on the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, in the Upper Lachlan Shire about 36 km north of Goulburn and 9 km south of Taralga on the road to Oberon and Bathurst. By 1860 the settlement had about 100 people, with a store, post office, flour mill, school, hotel and butter factory. The old flour mill remains a local heritage landmark, and the surrounding country is sheep and cattle grazing land.
