About Richlands (NSW)
Richlands is a rural locality in the Upper Lachlan Shire of the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, on the road between Goulburn and Oberon. It takes its name from the Richlands estate, an outpost of the Macarthur family's Camden Park pastoral empire, which by the early 1840s covered about 38,000 acres. The estate was broken up for closer settlement in 1910, and its historic homestead remains a local landmark.
