Forrest is a suburb of Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, lying south of the city centre. It is named after Sir John Forrest, an explorer, legislator, federalist and Premier of Western Australia, one of the fathers of the Australian Constitution, and its streets are named after explorers and governors.
