About Capital Hill
Capital Hill is a small suburb of Canberra, on the hill at the southern apex of the Parliamentary Triangle, about 4 km south of the city centre. It is the site of Parliament House, which was built into the hilltop and covered with lawns and native landscaping. Streets radiating from the hill are named after Australian capital cities, and a remnant of the original bushland survives on the western side.
