About ACT Remainder - Coree

Coree is a rural district in the western Australian Capital Territory, about 20 kilometres west of central Canberra, established as an administrative district in 1966. It covers agricultural and forested land along the Murrumbidgee River. Its main settlement is Uriarra Village, founded in 1928 as a forestry settlement for workers who established the territory's pine plantations.
