About City Beach
City Beach is an affluent beachside suburb about 10 km west of Perth's CBD in the Town of Cambridge, known for its white-sand Indian Ocean beach popular with surfers, swimmers and families. Key landmarks include Bold Park with over 400 hectares of bushland, the Quarry Amphitheatre, the City of Perth Surf Life Saving Club established in 1925 and the heritage-listed City Beach and Floreat Beach Precinct. The City to Surf marathon finishes at City Beach Oval each August.
