About Churchlands
Churchlands is an established residential suburb of Perth, approximately eight kilometres northwest of the CBD in the City of Stirling. European settlement began with land grants in 1831, and the suburb takes its name from the Catholic Church's purchase of the area in 1891. Extensive residential development occurred from the 1980s near Herdsman Lake.
