About Paracombe

Paracombe is a small semi-rural locality in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia, 24 kilometres north-east of Adelaide along Gorge Road via Athelstone. Settled in 1840 as a sheep station, today it supports horticulture and viticulture on its elevated plateau soils, and is home to the Kangaroo Creek Reservoir, a major water supply for eastern Adelaide.
