About St Agnes (SA)

St Agnes is a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia, located approximately 15 km northeast of the city centre within the City of Tea Tree Gully. The suburb was originally known as Steventon, with its post office opening around January 1859 before being renamed Tea Tree Gully in 1872 and finally St Agnes in 1969. It is home to Ardtornish Primary School, originally founded in 1842 at Hope Valley and relocated to St Agnes in 1980.
