About Lindenow
Lindenow is a town in the East Gippsland Shire of Victoria, about 20 km west of Bairnsdale on the Bairnsdale–Dargo Road. The fertile river flats along the Mitchell River produce vegetables that are shipped around Australia. The nearby Mitchell River National Park protects the river's spectacular gorges, including the Den of Nargun of Aboriginal legend, and a railway station served the town from 1888 until 1981.
