About Silvan
Silvan is a town in Victoria, about 40 kilometres east of Melbourne in the Shire of Yarra Ranges, roughly halfway between Belgrave and Lilydale. Its soils are well suited to fruit, vegetables and flowers, drawing visitors to pick-your-own orchards and berry farms. The silvanberry, a cultivated hybrid blackberry, is named after the town.
