About Watheroo

Watheroo is a small town in the Wheatbelt region, 214 kilometres north of Perth in the Shire of Moora. Gazetted in 1907 as an original station on the Midland Railway line, farming of livestock and grain continues today. The nearby Watheroo National Park spans over 44,000 hectares and is noted for its wildflower displays and limestone formations including Jingemia Cave.
