About South Quairading
South Quairading is a sparsely settled rural locality in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, about 10 to 15 kilometres south of Quairading and roughly 165 kilometres east of Perth. The landscape features York gum, salmon gum and wandoo woodlands on granite outcrops across broadacre cropping and sheep farming land, with very sparse settlement typical of the central Wheatbelt. The area lies within the Shire of Quairading and is characterised by large farming properties with high median household incomes.
