About Morbinning
Morbinning is a rural locality in the Shire of Beverley of the Wheat Belt region in Western Australia, located about 88 kilometres from Perth. The landscape features flat to gently undulating agricultural land typical of the Western Australian Wheat Belt, with broadacre cropping of wheat, barley, and oats alongside sheep grazing. Developed as part of the Wheat Belt expansion after the 1905 gold rush decline, aided by superphosphate fertiliser and railway feeder-line construction, the area receives about 400 to 500 millimetres of annual rainfall and relies on nearby Beverley and York for services.
