About Mallee Hill
Mallee Hill is a sparsely populated rural locality in the Shire of Lake Grace in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, about 281 kilometres south-east of Perth. The area lies within the Western Mallee IBRA subregion, characterised by gently undulating terrain with mallee scrub, Eucalyptus woodlands and saline lake systems. The broader Lake Grace area contains a nationally significant wetland complex of interconnected seasonal freshwater and permanent saline lakes.
