About Lake Hinds
Lake Hinds is a small rural locality in the Central Wheatbelt of Western Australia, approximately 145 kilometres north-east of Perth. The area is dominated by dryland agriculture, with wheat and sheep farming forming the primary land use. The locality is named after a nearby ephemeral salt lake that is usually dry, with an exposed bed of white salt.
