About Gingin
Gingin is a town on the Brand Highway about 67 km north of Perth, and the council seat of the Shire of Gingin. It is an agricultural centre growing beef cattle, cereal crops, olives, oranges and mangoes, and is also home to the Gravity Discovery Centre and Australian International Gravitational Observatory, part of a worldwide gravitational-wave detection array.
