About Mount Hill

Mount Hill is a small rural locality in the Mid West region of Western Australia, about 345 kilometres north of Perth within the City of Greater Geraldton. The slightly undulating landscape supports broadacre cropping of wheat, canola and lupins alongside sheep and cattle grazing on sand-over-gravel soils, and the heritage-listed Mount Hill Homestead, constructed from stone from 1865, is one of the older pastoral structures in the district. Native Banksia and Acacia bushland, seasonal wetland areas and clear open skies characterise the countryside.
