About Wallareenya
Wallareenya is a sparsely populated locality in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, about 52 km south-east of Port Hedland. The area, once part of Boodarie Station, served as an evacuation point in 1942, when families including the Kerrs and Mantons moved there amid fears of Japanese bombing during World War II.
