About Attadale
Attadale is an established riverside suburb about 9 km from Perth's CBD in the City of Melville, on the southern bank of the Swan River between Perth and Fremantle. Named in 1896 after a Scottish estate on Loch Carron, it is known for its extensive foreshore with public open spaces along Burke Drive. The suburb features three schools including Santa Maria College and has been home to notable figures such as actor Heath Ledger and cricketers Mitchell and Shaun Marsh.
