About Oldbury
Oldbury is a small semi-rural locality in the City of Armadale in the south-eastern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia, situated approximately 30 kilometres south-east of the Perth central business district. The area is characterised by small acreage hobby farms, orchards and remnant jarrah and marri bushland on the rolling terrain of the Darling Scarp. Oldbury lies within the broader Perth Hills landscape, with the nearby town of Byford providing local services and the surrounding area featuring a mix of cleared pastoral land and remnant native vegetation.
