About Pearsall
Pearsall is a residential suburb in the City of Wanneroo, about 20 kilometres north of Perth on the Swan Coastal Plain. Originally part of Wanneroo, it was gazetted as a distinct suburb in the late 1990s. Named after early settler William Charles Pearsall, who arrived from Victoria in 1906 and took up market gardening in the district, his family opened the area's first garage in 1929 and screened films at the local hall. Bounded by Wanneroo Road and Ocean Reef Road, the suburb features several parks preserving remnant bushland.
