About Gnangara
Gnangara is a semi-rural suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located 24 kilometres north of the CBD within the City of Wanneroo. Named after Lake Gnangara, from the Noongar word "Knangara" meaning swamp or spring, the suburb overlies the Gnangara Mound, Perth's most important underground freshwater resource. It is a significant Nyoongar cultural site and features the Lakelands Country Club golf course.
