About Wembley
Wembley is a western suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the Town of Cambridge. Named Wembley Park in 1924 after the London suburb of the Empire Exhibition, the name was shortened to Wembley in 1935. The suburb lies between Lake Monger and Herdsman Lake and was once a market-gardening area.
