About Carine
Carine is a residential suburb about 14 km north of Perth's CBD in the City of Stirling, named after two historic swamps recorded in an 1865 survey. Sitting on the Swan Coastal Plain with gently undulating terrain up to 49 metres elevation, it is known for its green, family-friendly character anchored by the Carine Regional Open Space, a 24.8-hectare wetland reserve with walking trails and sports facilities. Carine Senior High School, established in 1973, and the Carine Glades Shopping Centre are notable landmarks.
