About Wilyabrup
Wilyabrup is a locality in Western Australia's Margaret River wine region, within the City of Busselton on the traditional lands of the Wadandi people. Its name comes from the Wilyabrup Brook, possibly from a Noongar word meaning northern sky. Vasse Felix and Cullen Wines, the first vineyards in the region, were planted here in the 1960s, and Wilyabrup has the highest concentration of premium wine producers in the Margaret River area. The Quinninup Falls on the Cape to Cape Track and the Wilyabrup Sea Cliffs, popular for rock-climbing, are within the locality.
