About Yelverton
Yelverton is a locality in the South West region of Western Australia, within the City of Busselton. It is named after timber merchant Henry Yelverton, who established a timber mill there in 1856, and the area later became part of the Group Settlement Scheme of the 1920s, with a small school operating from 1934 to 1937. The Yelverton National Park lies within the locality.
