About Ludlow
Ludlow is a locality in the South West region of Western Australia between Busselton and Capel, split between the two councils. It adjoins the Tuart Forest National Park, which protects the largest remaining pure stand of tuart trees in the world, a species that grows only on coastal limestone near Perth. A pine plantation established here from 1909 was followed by the state's first forestry school (1921–1927), and the Ludlow Forestry Mill and Settlement is a heritage precinct.
