About Tarrone
Tarrone is a rural farming locality in the Shire of Moyne in south-west Victoria, situated in the Western District farming belt between Warrnambool and the Great Ocean Road coast. The area supports dairy, cropping and sheep grazing across gently undulating pastoral land. Following World War II, the historic Tarrone Estate was carved into soldier settlement blocks for returning servicemen, and several of those families continue farming there today.
