About Strathdownie
Strathdownie is a large rural locality in the Glenelg Shire of western Victoria, situated on the Glenelg Highway approximately 16 kilometres east of the South Australian border. Named after pastoral runs taken up in 1845, the area is characterised by open paddocks and dryland farming.
