About St Helens (Vic.)
St Helens is a small rural locality in the Shire of Moyne, located in south-western Victoria approximately 259 kilometres from Melbourne. Settled during the pastoral expansion of the 1840s and 1850s, the area supports an agricultural economy of grazing and dairying on the fertile volcanic soils of the Western District. The locality is situated near larger centres such as Warrnambool and Port Fairy.
