About Irrewarra
Irrewarra is a rural locality about 10 kilometres south of Colac in the Shire of Colac Otway, where the Otway foothills meet the volcanic lake and plain country. The area supports dairy, beef, sheep and wheat farming on fertile volcanic soils, and is home to the Irrewarra Artisan Bakery, famous for its sourdough, operating from the historic Calvert family estate dating to 1842. Irrewarra Vineyard, planted in 2001, produces Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
