About Patho

Patho is a rural locality on the Murray Valley Highway between Echuca and Cohuna in the Shire of Campaspe, situated on the flat Patho Plain with a mix of irrigated and dry farming. The area was originally taken up as the Gunbower and Torrumbarry pastoral runs in the 1840s, and irrigation from the Torrumbarry Weir constructed between 1919 and 1924 transformed it into cattle-grazing country.
